Honour and Glory Part III: For the third year in a row, Hocus Focus was involved in the post-production of the best commercial film of the year. The Gullfisken award of 2009 was given to the Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted (NABP) and Try Advertising Agency. As a good cause before the Christmas of 2008, Hocus Focus joined forces with Try, Paradox and Megaphone to help with their attitude campaign concerning guide dogs: “Don’t disturb”.The sincerity of the message is communicated through humour by using examples we can relate to. Obviously, very many Norwegians recognized the various ways we might disturb guide dogs. Daft situations like when a passenger throws a ball at a bus driver or a man suddenly snuggling another man who is busy carrying a fragile window must be strangely familiar… A funny but important film with a clear message. Congratulation to everybody involved and especially: Paradox with producer Beate Tangre and director Andreas Riiser and Try advertising agency and Øysten Halvorsen/ Karin Lund who has created a campaign to remember. The Hocus Focus team: Martin Stoltz (editor), Haavard Albertsen (colour grading) Bengt Ove Sannes (online) and Ole-Arild Svendsen (scanning/post-producer).
