Animated bunnies/
It might be a hard reference to catch and a difficult connection to make outside Norwegian borders: Animated bunny rabbits making ginger snaps and the information service 1881. Why are those creatures calling an information service wondering about the amount of pepper in traditional Christmas cookies? Well, for most of us the author Thorbjørn Egner and his “Hakkebakkeskogen” are children’s knowledge and, as such, an obvious reference. Quite funny as well, because all the knowledge in the world can not save the ginger snaps from being peppered by the double. A fact 1881’s slogan confirms: “We can help you with ALMOST anything”. The advertising company Hei! has worked out the idea and Bang Bang, with Jakob Thommesen and Martin Engh, is once again responsible for the charming animations in the style of stop motion. The production company is Storm Group AS with producer Anja Nicolas.
