The song ROM FOR ALLE (Room For Everyone) is written and performed by Maria Solheim for The Church City Mission. The music video directed by Kristoffer Carlin was released the 2nd of December. In a duet with Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby aka Hank von Helvete from Turboneger, they grab hold of your heart – twist it and turn it – with a song so fragile that it might break. It is a thought provoking experience to see some of the individuals from the streets of Oslo find their room of acceptance, peace and understanding in the fashionable department store Paleet situated in our main street of Karl Johan. As the production company Paradox have shown us many times before, the “real” people with “real” stories in their eyes, are those who speak to us, those who have something to say.

The organisation The Church City Mission is working for the right of all citizens to be treated with respect, justice and care. Their goal and motto is ROM FOR ALLE and the 1750 employees and more than 1850 volunteers in 10 Norwegian cities are every day caring for the drugged, the elderly, the children, the prostitutes and other underprivileged people in one of the richest countries in the world. All the income from this song is directly transferred to the work of The Church City Mission. Hocus Focus is proud to partake in the project and strongly encourage everyone to buy the beautiful, tender and fragile song at your nearest Platekompaniet music shop or at: www.platekompaniet.no
