Sparkling literature/

04.12.2009 - 10:49

Books are traditionally the perfect Christmas presents. We know, the book shops know and the authors know. Hence, a perfect timing for the nationwide chain of book shops called Libris to promote sparkling literature. In a wonderful commercial directed by Peder Norlund, a real sense of that Christmas spirit are communicated in a way that might be inspired by the nostalgic book shops of films like “You got mail” and “Notting Hill”. With real and in-person Norwegian star authors like Dag Solstad, Herbjørg Wassmo, Lars Monsen, Roy Jacobsen and Ingrid Espelid Hovig, the film is both evocative and funny with a twinkle in the eye. Produced by Anders Graham and Filmhuset in cooperation with the advertising agency Surburbia. Martin Stoltz has edited, Haavard Albertsen is responsible for the colour grading and Bengt Ove Sannes is the man behind online and the sprinkling, sparkling and glittering look.
