Two men in black together with Steinway & Sons. Another exceptional music video directed and edited by Håvard Arnstad and produced by Per Bryne and Gyro Media. The Norwegian baritone Johannes Weisser is singing JEG ELSKER DEG, op. 41 No.3, by Edvard Grieg. The experience of a handsome, young Norwegian man singing I love you, I love you, I love you, is not a casual thing.
The lyrics together with Weissers voice and the melancholy of the piano, makes a solemn and formal impression. This is further enhanced but made contemporary by the minimalistic, classy and beautiful images, worked on by Haavard Albertsen in grading. Posing in a tableau, the greatness of the singers voice grabs hold of you. It is very understandable why Johannes Weisser as early as the spring of 2004, at the age of 23, made his debut as Massetto in Mozarts “Don Giovanni” at The Norwegian Opera.
