Reflections from NSB/
“Life is flying by like in a dream”… It is a beautiful and perfect way
director Sten Hellevik illustrates the experience of sitting on a train
while staring out of the window. It is the time for afterthoughts, for
reflections and as the slogan ending the film states; it is the “Life in
between”. NSB has given the assignment of presenting personal
interpretations of various train stretches in Norway to promote the
Minipris. First up was Hocus Focus editor Ove Kenneth Nilsen’s
interpretation of the many beautiful and particular places between Oslo and
Trondheim. This is the second film from Hellevik, working for the
advertising agency McCann together with the production company Fredrik
Fiction. As both his NSB commercials exemplifies, he has a great sense of
music, which in turn has a major influence on his work. Hellevik is a busy
guy, working with different projects in LA and the team at Hocus Focus love
working with this inspiring director. The lucky ones this time around was
editor Ove Kenneth Nilsen and grader Haavard Albertsen who also worked
online together with Bengt Ove Sannes.
