Is it the first sign of Christmas or is it pure magic from Boots? The new commercials from the chain store pharmacy Boots aim to promote the many gift boxes available in their Norwegian stores. Smallfilm’s new and promising director Michael Pfleghar has managed to continue the delicate and subdued profile of Boots’ line of commercial films. In close cooperation with Hocus Focus onliner and colourgrader Haavard Albertsen, Pfleghar prepared thoroughly to get the best out of the beautiful images from photographer Simon Hawken. The result communicates a breathtaking, centred and soothing sense of glowing atmosphere. Whether it is the sound and images of angels or the heavenly products can be left unsaid… The production company is Smallfilm with producer Elisabeth Enstad, Martin Stoltz is responsible for the editing and the sound mix is taken care of by Frode Løes Hvatum and Lydhodene.
